If you're already added as a friend, there's no need to ask to be added. I'm keeping everyone that is already added unless you would not like to be kept. :)

I'm not entirely sure what to update about, but I just had the overwhelming urge to.

I've had the last two days off work and I'm been insanely bored. I read a bit yesterday in the living room. I knew if I read in my room I'd turn on the tv or go online and frankly, I just didn't feel like doing either. But, if they were in my general viscinity, either one or both, would take precedence.

I took a 45 min nap in the afternoon. It would've been longer but my mom came home and I figured I'd be in trouble if she caught me sleeping, so I woke up.

Dave planted the idea of brownies and ice cream in my and Katie's heads last night, so we made him take us to the grocery store so we could get some.

I watched the House season finale last night. It was interesting, to say the least.

Today I woke up at 9, as always, to watch Crossing Jordan on A&E and it wasn't on and I am le pissed. After finding out it wasn't on, I couldn't go back to sleep *sigh*

Didn't do much today at all. Threw some laundry in to get clean, texted Amanda back and forth pretty much all day. I found out Josie quit work today. It's sad but completely understandable. It's about time one of us got out of there. She just couldn't take it anymore. She called in sick on Saturday and went out Sunday night and Natasha saw her and then came in on Monday and told everyone. I mean seriously, you just dont do that. It was none of her business, and Josie calling in sick didn't affect Natasha at all, considering she didn't even work last weekend. Anyway, so Josie is done for good.

Mia called me tonight to ask me to cover Josie's shift on Sunday, and obviously because I have practically no other shifts, I accepted happily.

I watched Canada's Next Top Model tonight. So far the three girls I wanted to stay are still there so that's good.

I'm watching Hidden Palms right now. I have a thing for Taylor Handley (Oliver from the OC). It's a pretty good show so far. Michael Cassidy (Zack from the OC) is a jerk though.

FALL OUT BOY ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Fall Out Boy was SO effing awesome!!!!!

So, here's the rundown of the last few days:

Wednesday: I made my mom take me to the mall. I bought two hoodies (and yes, I'm aware it's summer and like 30 C and humid), a pair of jeans, Scrubs season 5 and Planet Earth (because let's face it, I'm a nerd). So I spent a ton of money on that to come home to the bill for tuition. Shitty. I need $1400 by July 18. Not happening. I think I'll try to apply for OSAP again. I better get it this year! Or even just a few hundred dollars. Otherwise I'm going to have to call the school and get a payment plan set up, which I am totally up for. Just not the actual calling part.

Thursday: Sat around doing pretty much nothing all morning and most of the afternoon. Ann-Marie called so I talked to her for a bit. I worked at 4. And I went in to find out we hired yet another cashier. Fuck. I'm already getting close to no hours, and now they go and hire someone else! Unless they're planning on firing someone, I don't see why we need another. Don't get me wrong, the new new girl, Lana, is nice. Shy and a little awkward because she's 15 and this is her first job, but she is nice. And Celia's grown on me. But seriously, WTF. I am uber pissed, as is Amanda and Josie.

Friday: Amanda and her friend Megan and I went to go get our hair done. Our appointment was at 10 and Amanda's friend Gianna, was the one doing all of our hair. We all got it dyed and Amanda and I both got highlights. She got pink and I got a subtle red. I wanted bright red, but in the end I really ended up liking the subtly instead. By 3:15 only Megan and Amanda had gotten their hair cut. Amanda had to work at 4 and Megan drove so they ended up having to leave me at the salon. I was ok with taking the bus home but then we got hit with a freak storm (and there was apparently a possible tornado by my house) and I called my brother to pick me up instead. I felt bad though because he had just come from Upper James (which was where the salon was).

Anyway, no more than 15 minutes after I got home Sarah called me to see if I wanted to go out. So I said sure and she picked me up a little while later. We headed to Denningers to get food (I hadnt eaten all day) and then went to the movies. SilverCity was sold out of all the showings of Pirates of the Caribbean so we had the brilliant idea of going to the drive-in instead. I hadn't been there in SO long! Pirates was good. I prefered it to the second one. The first is still the best, IMO, but I liked the third. The second movie was The Invisible. It was ok. A little odd. I ended up getting home at 2:30 am. That was fun.

Saturday: Woke up too early. I wasn't sure what time we were leaving for Toronto because Amanda wanted to go to Much Music first. So I got up so I could get ahold of her. Around 11 she called me (we had already talked earlier) and was freaking out because Megan (Who was supposed to be our ride downtown and home) was backing out because her cousin who was going with us was no longer allowed to come. So we had two extra tickets and no way home after the concert. *sigh* Amanda ended up getting her mom to pick us up in downtown Hamilton after the concert and I took my sister Katie along with us. She doesnt really like Fall Out Boy at all, but it was a free ticket and it got her out of the house, so she came along. And had a lot of fun. Her and Amanda got along well, which I wasn't worried about anyway. I knew they would. We took the bus downtown, stopping at the mall first so Amanda could get a phone card. And in front of us - Miss. Antolich, this teacher Katie and I had in elementary school. I hated her.
We got on the Go Bus, after feeding some birds at the terminal lol. When we got to Union Station in Toronto, we walked from there, along Lakeshore and whatnot all the way to the Molson Ampitheatre, a good 45 min walk away. It was a pleasant walk though, so no complaints.
Our seats weren't covered seats and when we got to them we saw that one of them was completely covered in a cobweb and the rest were covered in bird shit. So we sat on the lawn for the first opening band Cobra Starship...who I'm completely in love with right now. Right after they performed Paul Wall was going to perform. And since none of us are really into rap we made a beeline for the merchandise table where Cobra Starship was going to be. Amanda got an autograph and a picture taken with Gabe, the lead singer and she was completely in heaven. While we were over doing that, Katie was in line with our money to buy Amanda a t-shirt and me a FOB tote bag. (I'd post a pic of it but I dont feel like uploading anymore lol)
We made it back in time for the next bands, The Academy Is... and +44. We sat in some empty seats that we found and then moved up a few rows closer.  And then MOTHER FUCKING FALL OUT BOY!!!!! Seriously probably the most energy filled concerts I have ever been to. I was so impressed with them. And Pete was hot (sorry, needed to add that). I realized I am scarily turning emo....moreso than before. But not the bad emo. Because I hate them. lol Anyway, after the concert we hailed a cab (my first time) and went back to Union Station. We got on the 11:45 bus and were back in Hamilton by about 12:40. Amanda's parents picked us up and we were home by 1ish.

Sunday: I had to work at 10. Work wasn't bad at all. I was the last one in so I was a floater. I bagged most of the day. Rarely went on cash, which I was totally fine with. Amanda and I talked most of the day about the concert and sang. I had Of All the Gin Joint in all the World in my head because I was so excited that they played it at the concert, and I ended up getting it stuck in her head. Go Team Kayla. Celia was happy to listen to us and tell us we were geeks. She's fitting in quite nicely lol. She went to Tim Hortons on her lunch and she got me a sandwich and an ice capp!! Everything is extremely relaxed at work because Annamaria and Angelo have gone to Cuba until Thursday. They should go away more often. *nods*
We had a smooth close and Celia drove me home.

The End.

Hello Flist!

I've had a busy-ish weekend. Let me tell you about it.

Saturday: I worked 10-6. It was crazy busy. I had 323 customers all on my own, not to mention the 200 + customers Josie had. And I made almost $11,000. Go me.
I was so tired after work, but Sarah came over and dropped off her TV which I am buying from her. I decided it was pathetic that my computer screen was larger than my TV screen so I had been talking about getting a new one for awhile. Anyway, then after I changed out of my work clothes we went to Niagara Falls and almost got ourselves lost...again. But we figured as long as the casino was in front of us we were at least still in Canada lol. It was SO busy, due to the fact it's the holiday weekend. It took us 45 minutes to find a freaking parking spot.
We finally did, and made our way to the....arcade. YEP! I prefer the arcade to the casino. At casinos you just completely lose your money most of the time. Whereas with the arcade you're a winner everytime. I had 1058 tickets so I got myself a talking Donkey from Shrek. I was pretty impressed with myself. Sarah had 1053 so she went to go play more games to get enough tickets (1500 was what she needed) to get a huge Pirate Patrick (from Spongebob). After the arcade we headed home in the pouring rain. Fun times. I got home at 1am.

Sunday: I worked 9-6. I woke up at 7:05 because I heard the tap downstairs in the kitchen turn on. But I was convinced it was my alarm clock so I kept hitting it until I realized it wasn't the alarm at all. *sigh* I was quite out of it. Work was meh. Amanda and I went all day going back and forth between whether or not we liked the new girl or not. Sometimes she justs rubs us the wrong way, but by the end of the night she was kind of out of it and spazzy, which amused us greatly.
I got home from work and could barely make it up and down the stairs. Amanda asked me if I wanted to go to Valley Park to see the fireworks but I was curled up in bed and not moving for the rest of the night lol. But it turns out she met a guy in Leslie Carter's (Nick Carter's sister) band and he was telling them all about celebrity parties and what not. I'm a little bummed I didn't decide to go.
Then she called me at 11, just as I was falling asleep and my phone was loud and it scared the crap out of me.

Today: I worked 8:30-5. I was a little late leaving the house this morning so I took the shorter, scary route to work. It was busy today, but I made a lot less money and had a lot less customers than Saturday which I just find plain odd. Amanda and I were plotting our joint homicide plan. Neither one of us could take it anymore today. We were both so tired and stressed. It got really busy just as we were trying to close, which is nothing unusual. But Mia let us make an announcement that we were closed AND she locked the doors 5 minutes early and we got to turn people away. I enjoyed it.
I had the worst headache today. It started off feeling like someone was poking my right temple and then progressed to feel like someone had their hand over my head and was digging their fingers into the sides of my head. And from there it went into a full blown migraine. I stepped outside after work and the sun hurt me SO much. I got home and took a regular Advil, hoping that would work, but 45 minutes later when my headache was still incredibly painful, I had to take a migraine Advil (they make me tired so I dont like to take them if I dont have to). And thankfully the headache has dissipated.
I got home from work and set up the TV and I'm still finding it odd watching shows on a bigger screen, but I love it.

I'm off tomorrow, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Yes...I have a shitty schedule this week. BUT, I have plans already for Friday and Saturday so go me!  I think tomorrow is going to just be a relaxing day. Wednesday I'm going to see if Ann-Marie wants to hang out. I was supposed to call her last week and didnt because I was working. Friday Amanda and I are getting our hair done and Saturday is FALL OUT BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm about to head off to bed, but before I do I want to formally congratulate Jen, who made mod on the Sarah Wayne Callies board on Fan Forum!!! We're mod buddies!!! *high five*

Anyway, good night!

Me? Capable of murder?

At work yesterday the deli girls said I looked capable of murder. I'm not sure what their criteria for being capable of murder is, but they aren't the first to say that to me.

The other week Patti from work said when I get married I'd probably kill my husband. I said something and it came out wrong, and she said it sounded like I was already planning the murder...

Does this look like the face of someone who could take someone else's life? *flashes toothy grin*

I find it amusing, at least.

I mean come on, I'm not that psychotic!

The Office = <3

Today is my brother's 20th birthday. Now, since I'm the oldest, having my brother turn 20 makes me feel incredibly old....even if I am only a year and a half older than him. Anyway, so Happy Birthday to Brady!

The oddest thing happened to me today. My cousin Mandy, from my Dad's side, added me to Facebook. I haven't talked to her in a good 11 or 12 years. My mom and I were just talking about her the other day as well...which really makes the timing odd. But it's even weirder that when looking at pictures of her that she had up...I couldn't figure out which person in the pics were her...it's been that long I guess.

Oh, and my mom now has Facebook. *sigh*

Work today was annoyingly dead. Maureen, Mia and Celia (the new girl) all worked....so four of us. I wasn't allowed to leave Celia alone on cash, and I didn't even have my own till so I was stuck bagging for Celia all night. I was going stir crazy!

Scrubs )

Anyway, off to bed with me!

Today was pretty much a 'blah' day. Didn't do anything fantastic.

I didnt sleep much last night because I was worried that Amanda wouldn't call into work for me this morning and that I would therefore not end up going in.
But, just after 7:30 she sent me a text telling me I was working Tuesday and Thursday at 4. What the hell kind of crap is that!?!?! If I find out new girl got more and BETTER shifts than me, I'm going to be uber pissed. *waves hand frantically* I've been there FOUR years!!! */ frantic hand raising*  I figure I'll see if the schedule fixes itself next week and if not...I think I'll have to start looking for a new job...and I'm sure Josie and Amanda will do the same. How are we supposed to pay for school when we're only working 8 hours during the week? I mean, some nights I sleep more than that!

Anyway, so after getting up early, I was paranoid that she had gotten the schedule wrong, so I didn't end up falling asleep. I watched Because I Said So this afternoon and talked to Ann-Marie who had her first mother's day yesterday.

I seriously cannot get over Thursday's episode of The Office. Everytime I see icons for it online I crack up. It's just way too funny.

My cat scratched the hell out of my hand today. It hurts and it was purely accidental on his part so I can't be too mad.

Scrubs was renewed for a seventh and final season. That makes me immensely happy! I love that show. I find it to be bordering on genius. Season 5 comes out on DVD next week...I must buy it.

Anyway, I'm heading to bed.

The last few days have been pretty uneventful.

I worked Friday and Saturday and both days were so dead. Minus the last half our or so on Friday where a swarm of people showed up.

Annamaria's (my boss) mother passed away on Thursday morning, so when I went to work on Friday there was just this cloud hanging over the entire store. Understandably, considering it's family-run so most of the people there are related to her in some way. Poor Anthony didn't look like Anthony at all. He looked like a child who was just so lost. I dont generally get the urge to hug people, but he just looked so sad that I just wanted to give him a big hug. She was his grandmother, afterall, and I know all too well how much it hurts to lose a grandmother you're close to.

We had a new girl start on cash on Friday, but I didn't meet her until Saturday. She's pretty nice. Her name is Celia and she's 19. I was hoping for someone my age, since Mia is two years older, Amanda is two years younger and Josie is three years younger (then there's Patti, Maureen and Jenn who are much older). Oh well. But we weren't happy when she got to leave at 4 on Saturday. We figured she'd need to learn to close one day, and what better time to learn than when it's not insanely busy (And she can actually learn) and when I'm working? I dont understand why Patti sent her home...Me, Amanda and Josie teaching her how to close or Maureen? Which is better? (of course that's rhetorical for you folks).
My mom picked me up from work and she was in a baaaaaaaaad mood. Every second word was 'fuck'. I knew I should'nt have asked what was wrong lol.

I watched the last three episodes of season 1 of Supernatural last night. Now I just need to go back and watch the episodes that have commentary and I'm all set to start season 2. I also watched "The Queen." It's a very good movie. I enjoyed it.

I also decided to show my mom my ear last night. This was after she had calmed down and was in a good mood, of course. She just jokingly called me a fool and that was it. Good.

Today I went to go buy my mom's Mother's Day present (yes, I know, a little late). Anyway, I planned on buying her an MP3 player, but no one was around to open the case for me so I ended up just getting her a gift card that she can put towards one or whatever else she wants. Dave bought her a new digital camera. It's quite fun.
I watched Stranger than Fiction this afternoon. I really like that movie. I should buy it.

I had lobster for the first time today. It is not a fun process trying to get the meat out of the various shelled parts. My mom just ripped into them. It was quite funny. I played with one until she decided she was going to eat it. I named him Pinchy. I was upset that she devoured him. *tear* Cohen throughly enjoyed it though. Katie and I sat down at the table and the cat jumped up right between us, onto the table because he could smell the lobster. It was amusing. And he kept pacing back and forth on the floor, waiting for some to eat.

Amanda was supposed to check the schedule for me today. She failed to. Now I am making her wake up at 7:30 to call in to see if I'm working or not. lol

I went to have a shower tonight and there was close to no pressure in the shower at all. Turns out there was a water maine break on Amanda's street (a few over from mine) and therefore, it affected our water. She said her street was a river.

My ear isn't hurting. I'm pleasantly surprised at how little pain I've experienced. It didn't hurt too badly when I got it pierced and after a single Advil, I felt nothing for the entire night. Although Tuesday night I did have trouble sleeping. My room was extremely warm and I was tossing and turning and everytime I wanted to sleep on my right side I had to remind myself I couldnt. But, by last night (one day after the piercing) I was able to comfortably lay on my right side. Amanda said that days 3-6 were the worst for her. Day 3 is almost over for me and I've had no problems. Yay!

I decided I was going to wait to see how long it would take for my mom to notice my ear. And I'm still waiting. I havent been hiding it either. My hair has been up and my ear has been in her eyeline many times since Tuesday. And nothing. So, either she's pretending she doesnt see it or she's really not as observant as she claims she is.

Work was dead yesterday. And it made the day go by SO slowly. Not a fun day at all.

Bones last night was pure <3. Seriously, Angela and Jack are too awesome!! He is such a sweetie. And Booth/Bones...too cute!!!

American Idol...I don't know who I want to win anymore since Chris was voted out last week. Blake's a cutie and he's great with the beatboxing...but then Melinda has been paying her dues as a backup singer and she's great as well. Jordin is so talented for being only 17. I really don't think there's a clear cut winner at this point.

Went out to Sarah's this afternoon. We watched Music & Lyrics on her new big screen hi-def TV. It was awesome! And the movie was great too ;) Hadn't seen it yet (sad , considering my love for Hugh) but I loved it and now need to purchase it for myself.

After an hour or so of watching YouTube videos we went to the mall for a bit. I bought Catch & Release and Because I Said So on DVD. I was looking for the Planet Earth documentary boxset, but they didn't have it! I am saddened.

The Office tonight was too awesome. Loved the Pam stuff!!! The girl rules.

I need to get my mom a mother's day present still. And I work tomorrow and Saturday...so Sunday? LOL I suppose I could go before work tomorrow, but my mom will be home and will probably become a little suspicious as to why I suddenly want to go out.

So I've finally gotten around to uploading the pics for that meme I did like a month ago. Here they are, under the cut :)

Today I went and got my cartilage pierced. Yep....I finally did it! Go Team Kayla!
It didn't really hurt. Felt a little odd....but in a weird way, it was nice. It's hard to explain but in talking to Amanda immediately afterward (she went with me) she totally understood what I was trying to say (since she got hers done two weeks ago). But ya, didn't hurt, more like someone was pinching my ear for a few seconds. It hurt a bit afterward, but Advil seems to be helping.

I've neglected you for the past few days, dear LJ. I apologize. Here is why:

Thursday: Worked 4-8. Wanted to kick Maureen in the face, as per usual. No wonder I always make so much money on cash - she's never ON cash! Anyway, got home and watched Greys avec the new Grey's spinoff featuring my Sexy Agent Man, Paul Adelstein (Cooper, for you none Prison Break folks). Dunno though, wasn't quite as sexy. Could've been the lack of evil and the lack of a big gun in his hand. But still love him.

Friday: I was off! YES! I was supposed to go with Amanda to get my ear 'punctured' as she keeps saying. But I chickened out a bit. I swear, I'm going Tuesday! Anyway, so I called Sarah and she said she'd pick me up. So she did and we went to Chapters in Ancaster. We walked in and a salesman came up to us pretty immediately and asked how we were. Sarah said fine, I said good and then he said to me "Now I know you didn't mean to ignore my question." I turned around wearing my WTF, mate face and was like, I said I was good! And he was like ok then. And proceeded to tell me about this new promotion Chapters has going on. Then he made me follow him so he could give me more information about the promotion. Sarah walked away from me *sigh* So I followed and then Sarah returned. Salesman dude asked if there was any possibility that I'd spend $30 (that was part of the promotion) and I said there was a good possibility and he was like "Not a very good possibility?" And putting my WTF, mate face back on I was like, no I said a good possibility! Argh. Anyway, so I did end up spending over $30....bought a book recommended to me called Sloppy Firsts, the third edition of Prison Break magazine and People magazine. So it was more like $50 lol.
After that Sarah and I headed to Burlington to go to the movies. Took us a while because of traffic. We got to the movies and there was a lone Canadian goose just hanging out on a grassy, hilly part in the parking lot. Sarah was amused and took a picture of it....like she's never seen one before! *sidenote* those things are viscious! *end sidenote* We went in and saw Fracture. Ryan Gosling = fucking hot. And the movie was SO good. I really enjoyed it.
When the movie was over, we headed back to Hamilton to hit Katelyn up for some free Starbucks. But it took us an hour and a half to get there when it normally takes 15 min. But the Vanilla Chip Frappucino was well worth it *drools*
Then we sat there thinking to ourselves, "what do we wanna do?" So we came up with the idea to visit Mandy....in Kitchener....an hour and a half away. We left Hamilton just after 8 and made it to her place (without getting lost, I might add *high five*) in an hour. Go Team Sarah and Kayla! We met Cali, Mandy's puppy (sooo cute) and then went out to Kelsey's for some appetizers, which I think ended up being everyone's dinner. But it was yummy. I think we left Kitchener around 11:30. But on the way home Sarah wasn't paying attention and got on the wrong ramp onto the highway and we ended up out in Brantford because there were no closer off ramps. So I got home at 1am.

Saturday: I worked at 9. It was an odd day. It was just mostly Amanda and I on cash...which at least was amusing. But we got slammed with work at 5:30 because Patti left at 4, Mia had to leave at 5 and at 5:30 there were a gazillion people in the store and things still had to be done. So we didn't get out until 6:20, meaning I didn't get home until almost 7. Anyway, this woman came in and apparently she's a psychic. She said Amanda and I were sisters and that we argued over socks that morning. *blank stare* I had to walk home and yawned the entire way. I could barely make it up the stairs and then headed straight to the comfort of bed and barely moved all night.

Today: Work wasn't bad at all. In fact, it was pretty much uneventful.

My schedule for this week is as follows:
Monday: 9-4
Tuesday: Off (ear puncturing day)
Wednesday: 9-4
Thursday: Off
Friday: 4-8
Saturday: 10-6
Sunday: Off

I totally just crashed.

I was fine all day...even at work....and then work ended and my mood completely changed. It's weird, the mood change is so much worse during the week. I think it may be because I spend so much time trying to be nice to the customers and getting pissed off at Maureen that by the end of my shift, I just want to kick someone. Whereas, on the weekend, I work with Amanda and Josie and they keep me laughing....so although I wanna kick the customers, I'm still smiling.
Anyway, I got out of work late because of these two women who were just taking their sweet ass time. I mean, half the lights were off, cigarettes were closed up, the entrance was locked and produce was covered and they didn't get a clue. They were browsing...seriously, browsing. You'd think they may have clued in when they realized that no one else was in the store. Ugh.
And I had to walk home as well. Which really didn't bother me too much. But it was just the fact that I was walking home later than I would've liked.
I got home and there was no dinner left for me. They ATE IT ALL!!! WTF. My family seriously hates me. Yes, let's eat all the food so someone else cant eat. So now I've gotta find something. I mean, it's almost 9:30, I'm not in the mood to make anything. I'm not even that hungry but I know I'll be hungry at like 3am...so I may as well just eat now instead. But I've already gone looking for food and found nothing I wanted. So I've slammed around in the kitchen (literally) and then slammed my bedroom door to show my disgust for my family right now. Thank god my mom isn't home....she'd be flipping on me for that.

I wanna dye my hair. I need to get rid of these blonde highlights that I've had for a YEAR! My hair seriously holds colour too well. I had black for over a year and now blonde for a year. Weird.

Anyway, hello to my new friends! *waves excitedly*

Saturday I headed out to the movies with Cheryl and we saw In the Land of Women. Second time for me. And honestly, I liked it just as much, if not more, than the first time.

Sunday morning Dave drove me to work, after a bit of an argument. My mom had told me that he'd be home from dropping her off at work around 8:15. Well, 8am rolls around and I'm brushing my teeth and he comes in, wanting to drive me. I didn't start work till 8:30 and with a two minute drive, I wasn't about to go in THAT early to work (Especially when we don't even open until 9 AND I had probably racked up about an hour of extra work from showing up early and leaving late already last week). Anyway, so I decided that I would just walk to work. It was a beautiful day out anyway. And even if I was going to walk, I still didn't have to leave for another 15 minutes. Anyway, so I go downstairs later and I'm getting ready and he decides he's going to drive. So....after all that, I was still early.

Rick made the bread yesterday, thankfully. Meaning, for the first Sunday EVER, the bread wasn't burned. AND I didn't have to put it out because he did it. *dances*

I was so completely out of it yesterday. I was so tired, I was slurring. I made a few mistakes on cash as well. *sigh* Over worked and underpaid. Amanda was sick, so we were an excellent pair. She even drooled, which is still amusing me. Patti's birthday is on Wednesday so we picked out a card for her - a Congratulations Newlyweds card. We wanted to be different. It had everyone confused, which in turn, had us highly amused.

Today I slept in a bit. I went to bed at 10 last night, I was so tired, and didn't wake up until 9:30 this morning. And I literally just hung around in my pajamas until 3:30. I loved it.

I bought those white Make Poverty History bracelets the other day. They came in the mail today. But I had to buy 10 of them. I'm wearing one, I'm giving Amanda one and I still have 8 to get rid of lol.

I've actually got three days off this week!!! YAY!!! Mon/Tues and Fri!! Go me! And I'm closing on Wednesday, but Mia will be there, which means I'm not freaking out by myself.

Tomorrow I'm getting my ear done. I'm starting to freak out!

One more day of work left....I hope. Seriously, if I get put in on Monday I really think I may cry. By the end of tomorrow, I won't be able to stand straight for sure. I can barely do it now. I should seriously look into a chiropractor. And I'm miserable. Seriously miserable. It's nothing new during the summer. Because of all the time I spend working I generally become miserable after a few days. I just hate it. Thursday night I came home and I was just so down. My mom made me dinner, but I was just so depressed I didn't want it. I made waffles instead, which then burned in the toaster, so I was even more upset. I didn't feel like being anywhere near the computer, so I wasn't. I lay in bed and cried every once in a while. I don't know why.

Thankfully, the days at work have gone by quickly. I won't deny that. Yesterday was a long day, 1-8... and I didn't get a break until 6. So, needless to say, by the time I did go for my break, I was completely out of it.

I talked to Sarah just before I left work and she was at the mall and had to drop off her mom at home and then would swing by the house to pick me up. I had to walk home and walked very fast, so fast my shins were burning lol. And she still beat me there. I walked up the driveway to find her talking to the dog through the window. It was amusing. I haven't seen her since February, so of course I was happy.
We headed to the movies and saw In the Land of Women. Adam Brody = total love! Seeing him in that movie totally made me fall in love with him even more.
Stupid tweens at the front of the theatre though....wanted to kick them. They kept getting up and talking and one girl's cell phone rang and she answered it! WTF?! Who does that? Seriously! So I missed a few pivotal points of the movie *le sigh* Oh  well, I'm seeing it again tonight with Cheryl.

I've officially become obsessed with Fall Out Boy. Seriously. The more and more I listen to them....the more I love them. Their lyrics are just.....genius.

Wentworth Miller made People Magazine's Top 100 Most Beautiful People list. ABOUT TIME! I must purchase several copies of that issue. Yummy.

ETA: My mom just got bitten by Katie's bunny.

ETA 2: Just wanted to say hello to my two new friends

I spent from 10 am to 8 pm cleaning my room last night. Of course there were a few breaks in there, but ya....10 hours of cleaning. *sigh* But, my room is clean. And I got rid of three garbage bags worth of clothes. I'm not wearing them, someone should.

Today I was supposed to go get my ear pierced with Amanda and Josie. But Josie couldn't get the car until 2 and I had to work at 3. So, *sigh* I did not go. But they went and Amanda got her ear done. I'm going to go next week with her to get it done.

I cant wait for the weekend! Sarah's home tomorrow (I think...or tonight) and we're going to go see In The Land of Women. I've been waiting or that movie for a year and a half! Adam Brody  = <3 And Cheryl wants to hang out on Saturday....so think we'll also be seeing the same movie LOL. Oh well, can't get enough of Adam. But GO TEAM KAYLA for having plans!!!

Of course, I will be exhausted both nights because it'll be after a long day of work (7 hours Friday, 8 on Saturday) but I will have fun nontheless!

This guy came into work today wearing a shirt for a casino and it said "I love rewards!" But it was in handwriting and I couldnt really read what it said at first. So, the first time I looked, I thought it said "I love retards!" I was a little shocked. Until I re-read it.

Anyway, off to bed for me!

Note to self: Dont drink coffee before bed.

Did that last night and couldnt sleep. And then ended up getting up early, as in before 7am early. *sigh*

Went to the mall with Ann-Marie today. We took Julia on the bus. Her first bus ride lol. That kid is SO adorable. She was laughing and smiling the whole time. Too cute.

I bought two pairs of shoes....it's BOGO time at Payless!!!

These are the shoes I got:

I especially love the second pair. More my style. I just loved the colours of the first pair.

Anyway, Katie moved back home last night. It shall be interesting to have her back. And my parents are letting her bring her bunny as well. So....that should also be interesting. See how the dog and cat get along with him.

Work called for me today, as I knew they would. Patti had said she may not go in and then Amanda told me that work had been calling her all morning but that she was ignoring the calls. With good reason - they wanted her to work 11:30 - 8. Now that's just crazy talk. So, I got my mom to tell work I wasnt home. And since I was on my way out anyway, it wasnt too much of a lie. These people need to understand I DO need a day off every once in awhile.*sigh*

Hi Flist *waves*

Today is day 6 of working 6 in a row. *happy dance* ....well, I would dance if I wasnt so tired and sore. And I'm REALLY hoping I don't get called in tomorrow. Patti already asked me if she needed to call in if I would cover. WTF. She left early yesterday because her HUSBAND had a fever. Not her, her husband! I went in to work over Easter while I had a fever, was coughing and sneezing on everyone and could barely stand up! AND I took an extra few hours. And because her husband is sick she leaves early and possibly wont come in tomorrow? Wow. Drives me crazy.

Anyhoo, work at least hasnt been too bad. Wednesday was a day shift, and during the week those are always good. Got to work with Jenn. Thursday work was dead. I read the newspaper and put out groceries for most of the night. Although 7:30 rolled around and a bunch of people walked in the door. Then when I walked outside after we closed at 8, three cars pulled into the parking lot. I just laughed at them. Friday was along the same lines as Thursday. Except I stayed on cash for most of the night while Maureen cleaned the bakery area. Yesterday was long, but it went by really quickly and it was fun because other than Patti, I was working with Amanda and Josie. And it was busy. Because of the insanely beautiful weather, everyone was BBQing so they were buying hundreds of dollars worth of meat. Blech.

People are stupid. I just really needed to mention that. We have hot dogs on sale for 99 cents. They're ALL that price and there's a sign that said so. The other week I was getting annoyed with people asking how much a certain type were or if "even the Shopsy's" were that price so I underlined the word ALL twice, hoping that would help. Well, it didn't. And then on Friday, I got really annoyed with people asking again "Even the Shopsy's?" So on the sign I wrote, EVEN SHOPSY'S and underlined it three times. That didn't work either. It's gotten to the point where when we see they're about to ask, we just say it before they have the chance to ask. And Maureen and I have begun mocking the customers right in front of them without them even noticing. I someone asks me how much they are, she turns to me and is like, "Even the Shopsy's?!" and I respond with "Yes, even the Shopsy's" and she generally goes with, "Wow! Did not know that!" The customers just look at us like we're crazy, which we are, but at least we're not stupid.

I'm actually hoping to have a lot of time off this week. I have a lot of people to see. Ann-Marie wants to go shopping and to the movies so she can get a little break from the baby (and I havent seen her in months anyway) and Sarah comes home this week AND I've been trying to find time to go on a date, which has been so hard. Between my schedule and his and then me being sick the other week, and then he got sick. It's crazy, I tell ya. CRAZY!

Anyway, I suppose I should go get ready for work. I'm not even bothering to shower. I had one when I got home last night because I smelled so bad lol. So I don't see the point in getting myself smelling nicely only to be smelly within a few hours again. So I'll just shower when I get home from work.

Happy Earth Day :)
